If there’s one complaint Call of Duty fans have, is that there’s not enough innovation from game-to-game. They’d like to see new modes, features and more implemented into the game to invoke that fresh feeling… that feeling of newness…
…Well John Rafacz, Director of Communications at Treyarch believes Black Ops II is that game.
Rafacz told Videogamer in a wide-ranging interview that once gamers get their hands on Black Ops II, they will not be disappointed with what’s new, and there’s tons of new experiences in there, but at the same time, they’ve managed to stay true to the game’s core components.
“With Black Ops II, I think we’re offering such a diverse set of experiences and such new elements that I think people will find a fresh take on Call of Duty,” he said.
When asked if Black Ops II is the developer’s strongest Call of Duty yet, Rafacz didn’t stutter:
“I do. But not only that, I think it’s the most ambitious game that we’ve made. In terms of all the things that we’re trying to do just within single-player: the story, the type of story, how that story evolves… Yeah, it’s ambitious.”
Black Ops II sees a release November 13th on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
