Bioshock Creator: “Sony Has Been Good To Us”

Bioshock mastermind Ken Levine has revealed that Sony has been a great partner to his studio, and that’s the very reason he unveiled Bioshock PS Vita at last year’s E3 even if the game hadn’t gone under development yet.

Levine said he isn’t blowing smoke when he says Sony’s been good to them, telling Eurogamer in an interview that normally, they wouldn’t do such a thing like unveiling a game without showing a video, but like the old saying goes: ‘that’s what friends are for’.

“Look, generally when I announce something… like with BioShock Infinite we had a whole video to show and it was all fully-formed,” Levine told the site.

“Sony was launching this platform and it was important that they had a show of support from people no matter what stage of development they were at.

Sony has been such a good partner to us, and I’m not just blowing smoke. Every time we see them they take really good care of us. So they asked me to do that and I said okay, even though that’s not what I normally do.”

Still, Levine isn’t ready to give any Bioshock Vita details.

only reason they showed bioshock vita is to try get people to buy it!
im really regretting my purchase, 6 weeks its been out now and only good games released for it so far are uncharted and rayman!
and only games coming out for it this year im interested in are resistance, gravity daze, god knows if bioshock, COD, and AC will be out this year!
2 games to justify a 420 dollar device.
yea, somethings telling me its not worth it!
