As of late, Skyrim’s been suffering with some rather unusual bugs, and publisher/developer Bethesda’s been working overtime to get a patch out the door and onto the respective platforms. However gamers all over are complaining to the ceiling about a game which was released only three days ago, demanding a patch immediately, and in turn Bethesda’s responded with matching vigor.
“We are continuing to work on an update for all platforms to address issues any bugs and performance issues we can. Patches and updates take a little time,” said Pete Hines, VP of PR and Marketing at Bethesda in a plethora of tweets. “We can’t turn it around quite that fast. It’s been three days. Calm down. We’re working on it.”
Bethesda’s also addressing the texture problem affecting Xbox 360 versions of the game. The problem occurs for those who install Skyrim on their hard drives, suddenly textures don’t load up properly, and the result is blurry visuals. “We will fix as much as we can for your platform,” Hines added. “I don’t know if it will fix ‘your’ bug. Takes a while to test/fix/regress. Hang in there.”
