A gameplay video from PAX featuring the “Desert Village” multiplayer map from Uncharted 3 has leaked its way onto the internet, showing sandstorms in the midst of the action. We’ve seen nothing yet when it comes to Uncharted 3. This is just amazing.
The developer’s taking a cue from what Guerrilla Games did with Killzone 3 mode Operations, where cinematic set pieces happen during gameplay. In this case, Naughty Dog says a sandstorm will blow at a certain point during the match and will obscure the player’s vision allowing them only to see a few feet ahead of them.
Enemies are barely visible during the sandstorm, forcing you to use instinct. The sandstorm will last for a few seconds during each match.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception releases on November 1st exclusively for PS3.

just hope its supported a little bit better then KZ3s operations mode………
hopefully the co-op in this gets supported a dam side better then the co-op in 2!
that and the stupid penalties system is what stopped me from playing uncharted 2 online.
whats the point of putting all that work and effort creating a new mode, then not supporting it through DLC?
