For the first in any Call of Duty title, 32-player multiplayer matches will be introduced if a leaked poster from the upcoming Call of Duty XP event in L.A. is to be believed. Details below.
A video that’s since then been removed by Activision, citing copyright claims, showed someone who managed to gain access to the yet-to-happen event browsing the menus of the version of MW3 that will be playable there.
The video showed two multiplayer options – Team Deathmatch and a new Bomb mode. No actual gameplay or details of the mode was shown off, only that the game will playable for up to 32 players – a stark rise from the usual 18-player cap for COD titles.
Also, in the video 13 multiplayer maps were shown, and they are: Carbon, Coast, Dome, Exchange, Hardhat, Interchange, Lambeth, Meteora, Mogadishu, Paris, Plaza, Radar and Seatown, per SFX-360.
That’s big news if true, folks.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 comes out on November 8th worldwide for all platforms.
