Anytime there’s news or even what would be considered half of it about the biggest game in the industry, it’s cause to pay attention, and via twitter, Infinity Ward’s community man Robert Bowling has said the Killstreak system in Modern Warfare 3 will be different from what we’ve come to know….and love.
“We changed the entire way the killstreak system works,” said Bowling.
“I can’t go into detail yet, but I will share when I can.”
What does that mean exactly is unclear, and even if you don’t like the Call of Duty games, its multiplayer is the best thing on the market right now, according to over 30 million people. Do they want change? Many would say yes and some would say no. Let’s hope this is for the better, and nothing too far off.
Modern Warfare 3 will see a release on November 8th for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

I’m guessing you get points from a variety of actions (capturing objectives, getting assists, and of course kills) and then you choose what kill streak you want.
So you could get a load of cheap UAV’s or save up for a powerful air support.
Would still reward players and stop campers. All just speculations, but if it’s true, I called it!
I’ll remember that. I like your thoughts on it though.
bit of a concern, he sent a tweet saying this will be playable for the first time in september.
wasent it playable at E3?
why so late?
gotta love how they say were aiming to have a longer campaign then previous COD games.
aiming!
………. yea, that does not exactly strike confidence in me!
there going to get eaten alive, and loose allot of sales again if this is another 5 hour crappy campaign!
No it wasn’t playable. They’re talking about a full mp reveal.
I should have learnt from their mistakes and had a full Beta. Seems like they are getting the game finished very late, It’s a bit of a worry.
True – I’m sure the departure of over 40 Infinity Ward staffers had something to do with this. I hope for their sake it’s really good.
