Killzone 3 Edge Tournament Opens Up Next Week, $40,000 Up For Grabs

JT Pierce, senior marketing partnership specialist for SCEA, has sent live on the PS Blog a Killzone 3 contest to commence next week, where you could win $40,000.

The challenge takes place on VirginGaming.com, and the qualifying round will be a 3v3 tournament starting on Month June 27th, and will last for six weeks.

The top 32 teams at the end of the Qualifying Round will move on to the elimination phase where the last team standing will take home $10,000. The top 20 teams will also get a nice payday as well. In addition to the main team-based leaderboard, you can also score some extra cash in a series of individual stat-based weekly challenges. During your qualifying matches, you’ll want to keep the weekly challenge in mind and try to not only win the match, but rank at the top of the EDGE Shave Gel Weekly Challenge leaderboard. The player with the most kills at the end of week one is going to end up with $800.”
