IGN’s gone live with a plethora of details concerning Uncharted 3′s beta, find the lot below the break.
The beta begins on June 28th for PS Plus subs, and for everyone else on July 4th. It’ll end on the 13th of the latter month.
The MP beta’s level cap is Level 25th.
The modes included in the beta are Team Deathmatch (duh), 3-Team Deathmatch (three teams of two face off), Team Objective (complete the assigned goals), Free For All (kill everyone), Plunder (capture the treasure), High Stakes (gamble with your XP and cash), and three co-op modes.
The MP also comes with four Power-Plays. These are one-minute events that’ll occur in blowouts to give the losing team a fighting chance (although the winning team can benefit, too).
They include:
Marked Man – “A person on the winning team is marked, and the losing team gets 3 points if they kill him. Meanwhile, the winning team gets double cash for each kill and a special medal if the Marked Man doesn’t die.”
Cursed – “The winning team sees all characters as skeletons and friendly fire is turned on. Each time the losing team gets a kill or the winning team kills one of its own, the losing team gets two points. Meanwhile, the winning team gets double cash for each member of the losing team killed.”
Exposed – “The winning team’s location is revealed to the losing team. The winning team gets double cash for each losing team member killed.”
Double Damage – “Losing team inflicts double damage. Winning team earns double cash for each kill.”

This game is gonna be EPIC. One of the best new game franchises out there is getting even better.
Epic indeed! I CANNOT wait for it.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, why so short!?
hope they have a more detailed lengthy one before the games release!
better give us a sp demo too, i really enjoyed the one for the original could not believe it when i heard they were not doing one for 2!
its a sad day, betas are starting to replace demos!
That and when these games get popular they just figure we’ll buy them.
betas are essential to balance a games MP and stress test the servers.
but that does not mean demos should be removed, its a perfect way to say thank you to your fans, and its free marketing!
playing a demo is going to convince someone to buy a game much more then seeing a 20 second add will!
