Modern Warfare 3 Locked At 60 FPS, Never Dips

Moments ago Infinity Ward dropped the bomb that’s Modern Warfare 3 on the world, showing for the first time the game in action. All what you saw was in-game action, and according to the developer’s community boss, Robert Bowling, the game’s locked at 60 frames per second, never dips, and is not ever restricted to it. Awesome stuff.

When asked it the game’s locked at the aforesaid rate, Robert Bowling said, “Of course not, locked at 60 FPS as in never dips below. Not restricted it to,” he said. He also said the game “Never dips below 60 FPS, it isn’t restricted from going beyond it (especially on PC)”.

So tonight what you saw, especially the gameplay, is all in-game footage of the game, and it’s looking rather good.

yea, but what resolution is it running at?
CODs always been running at 60FPS, which is why weve had to put up with the sub HD resolutions!
almost no games support 1080P its just ridiculous!
father ken, what happened to those 1080P 120FPS games you promised at the ps3s reveal?

    Ernice Gilbert Reply:

    It think it’s 1080p – I’m not sure.

no freaking way this will be full HD on consoles!
all the previous games have been in the 500s range so theres no way there going from 500 to 1080!
ill bet same as all the other CODs, if not then 720, but no way in hell 1080!
