Crysis 2 is out on Tuesday, yet we’ve seen no reviews. It’s a trend developers appear to be embracing in an effort to maximize sales just in case the game turns out to be underwhelming. Yet, I see no reason for EA and Crytek to be afraid, as the first set of reviews leaked have already rated the title as a must buy.

dont like this new trend of games getting reviews 2 days before release if not on release though.
what happened to the good old days where games got reviews 1+ months in advance?
i remember OPMUS had the first GOW3 review in freaking January!

a few lucky people have got there hands on the retail version of crysis 2 on ps3 and have posted vids and impressions on the net, and apparently its almost identical to the 360 version!
theres actually a patch already out for the game!

this ended up arriving in the mail today.
3 hours in and am having a blast!
game looks freaking amazing!
only thing i dont like is the checkpoint system.
drives me insane when games force you to redo half the freaking mission everytime you die!
theres a few bugs too, im upto this level where your in a office block and you have to take out a chopper.
theres heaps of enemies with rocket launchers, so you go to pick one up and instead of picking it up it just magically disappears!

love how open it is though.
all other shooters make you take one path, this lets you take multiple, the game even tells you when theres multiple possible paths and tells you which one does what.
using your visor you can spot a stealth spot, a infiltrate spot, a flanking position everythings itemized and put onto the visor.
thats what all games should be like, none of this corridor shooter crap!
