Homefront goes on sale today in the U.S. and reviews for the game are coming in like a rushing flood. Is it a title worth you time? Well, that depends on who you ask. Most sites, however, have failed the game, deeming as a rent at best.
Destructoid said “If you’re looking for the total package, Homefront doesn’t even come close. Gamers wanting a fulfilling story-driven single-player campaign should take the next bus to Playing Half-Life 2 Again Town. But fans of competitive multiplayer should at least give Kaos’ latest a look, even if it’s unlikely to replace their shooter of choice.”
However CVG concluded “We’d be over the moon to see Homefront return brighter, ballsier and more self-assured in the next few years. Except for Connor, that is. Fighting for the freedom of the people is made all the tougher when the grunting buffoon to your right deserves to be locked away for good.”

i dunno.
i already spent 3 hours tonight and am only up to mission 2.
theres 7 missions, taking me roughly 40 minutes to finish them so i doubt many will be done in 5.
still far too short, but i think GI were pulling the mickey a little.
