Video Thirst: New Vid Showcases Resistance 3 MP, Dev Explains Why Only 8-Player Co-op

Insomniac Games’ released a new video demonstrating even more Resistance 3 multiplayer footage, and in it, the dev talks about the game’s story, why the single player taking place in America, and the multiplayer portion in various parts of the world.

The dev also spoke more of the game’s mp, and why, after having such huge online battles with dozens playing in Resistance 2, tone it down to 8 versus 8 online match ups.

I know Insomniac set out to please fans with Resistance 3, lessoning the game’s multiplayer match ups to teams of 16, 8 on one side and 8 on the other, to me is very disappointing.

But they assure us it’ll work just fine, and that the game’s online component is more fun than ever.

mmmmmm, ill be the judge of that!
everything in this game just looks smaller and or worse!
less players, no online co-op, crappy pussy storyline, no LAN matches.
have not said much about the weapons either which is worrying.
thats what insomniacs known for, crazy weapons!
R2 by now they had announced heaps of new wacky weapons for the game.
i dunno, but this just feels like a real rush job!
quick, hurry up and finish it so we can get started on our EA game!
i always said insomniac dont know how to make a bad game, R2 almost proved me wrong.
but it looks like there out to fix that failure this time.

They had over 2yrs to make RE3, and they said it’s already completed. So we’ll see how this turns out….
