My goodness, beating out Gran Turismo 5, a game that’s sold 6.37 million copies worldwide, Treyach’s highly-rated shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops, takes the reign as PS3′s best selling game of all time.
Activision garnered data from NPD, ChartTrack and GfK to release the shocking news in tandem with its First Strike DLC that landed on the PS Store today.
The mammoth publisher didn’t give an exact number, however.
The list of top PS3 sellers includes Gran Turismo 5 (6.37 million), Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (5.2 million), Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (4.75 million), Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (over 3.8 million copies worldwide). Black Ops topped them all.
The game’s also the fastest selling title across all platforms, and has become the biggest entertainment launch of all time, grossing Activision a ridiculous $650 million in day one sales.

BF3 is probably a good candidate, but then batman arkham city and bioshock infinite should also do really well.
id probably go for BF3, its on all 3 systems, it looks freaking amazing, its a shooter, and the series has always sold really well.
