Call of Duty: Black Ops Gets Double XP Weekend On All Platforms

Activision’s confirmed through Major Nelson’s latest podcast that it’ll be holding a double XP weekend this coming weekend for Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops.

This happens to celebrate the first map pack for the shooter, First Strike, which launches tomorrow on Xbox Live first. Double XP kicks off on Friday and runs till Sunday.

Although the map pack comes to Xbox Live first, the double XP weekend will be ready on all platforms, according to a tweet from Treyarch community boss Josh Olin.

I’ll be there.

good way to suck everyone into buying the DLC.
shame they still have not fixed the game!
how ironic, first they threaten to shut off the servers, and now there throwing a double XP weekend.

It backfired indeed. I found that the patch did help fix some issues.
