Now here’s some value for your PS Plus subscription: Ubisoft has just sent live the multiplayer beta of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for EU PlayStation Plus members.
The beta’s heavy, too. Weighing a massive 3054Mb, and features nine different characters across two maps: Rome and Castel Gandolfo, with two modes available to play: Alliance and Wanted.
The good folks without PS Plus won’t be left wanting for too long, though, as that beta goes live next week. The beta will come to the US in early October, according to the US PS Blog.
The highly anticipated title comes available on November 16th in the US and on the 19th of the same month in Europe for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

assassins creed brotherhood definitely is my most anticipated game to come out this year. i remember when it was first announced, when they were still calling it assassins creed 2: episodes.

I read somewhere that they wanted to have the multiplayer element in AC 2, but did not have time to put it in. So they made a new game. As long as they do not start making this a yearly game, I will keep supporting it. I am okay with this coming out only a year later, and AC 3 will probably come out next year, but I hope the yearly thing ends there.

@RedBullGT33, & Ernice Gilbert, actually the developers have stated that they were gonna give the main AC series a rest before they start making AC3. the next game to release after AC brotherhood is assassins creed lost legacy, but that game is specifically only for the nintendo 3DS.

oh thanks, I did not know that. I am a huge fan of this series and will probably buy every game that comes out on consoles. I wonder if the AC3 will be the last one, or if they will just set it in another time period. I want to play as Desmond in modern times, like at the end of the AC2. Also, they gave him a new look and he looks better in my opinion.

@RedBullGT33, well they have said the main series was meant to be a trilogy, but they also said they could continue the series if there is a demand for it.
its not releasing on the PC till next year to follow typical ubisoft fashion.
cant believe how freaking big the beta is, i wish sony would get developers to compress downloads some of us dont live in Japan with ADSL2+ speeds and unlimited download usages you know?
Yeah, can’t compare Japan to the west, though. It’s a totally different world over there
thats what im saying, not everyone has the facilities to download 3GBs+ every time they want to play a beta, 1.5GBs+ to download a demo and 300MBs+ just to download a game or FW update!
i wasted 6 GBs the other day just downloading the move patch for RE5, heavy rain, than the quantum theroy, enslaved and CLOS demos!
Quantum Theory sucked hard. Weak effort from the dev team.
