Some people know more than others, and apparently the good folks of Xbox Official Magazine keep using Halo 4 and Xbox 720 in the same line time and time again, do they know something we don’t? Is Natal but just a path leading up to the unveiling of Xbox 720?
Halo: Reach will reach you this fall, but Bungie have assured us that its swan song is NOT Halo 4. Therefore we know the game will eventually come, the question is will is make a showing on 360 or Xbox 720.
In a piece on why its readers should purchase watch the anime’, Halo Legends, the magazine said, “On the back end of the anthology, “The Babysitter” correctly depicts the ghostly whit appearance of Spartans who spend nearly their whole adult lives clad in MJONIR armor, although the “The Package” strangely whiffs on this fact.
“Still, the latter is unmistakably the grand finale, rendered in spectacular 3D CG as if it were Halo 4 on the Xbox 720.”
Yes, Halo: Reach is not out yet and of course Microsoft’s total focus is making sure the game’s a success, but it’s still intriguing to hear the guys of OXM talk about Halo 4 and especially the Xbox 720.
But when will it come? Both Sony and Microsoft are trying hard to extend the lifespan of their respective consoles, with Natal being aimed at extended the life of Xbox 360 and Sony doing all sorts of things, including PS3 Move and later this year, 3D functionality in most of its games. It’s all in an effort to lengthen the seventh generation of consoles.
