Sony Faces $1Billion Lawsuit

A Toronto firm named McPhadden Samac Tuovi has filed a proposed class action against Sony “for the breach of privacy.” The lawsuit claims damages in excess of $1 billion, which, if won, would see Sony paying the costs of credit monitoring services and fraud insurance coverage for two years.

Hotz Responds: “I will Never Purchase Another Sony Product”

PS3 hacker George “Geohot” Hotz has responded to Sony’s release of the settlement agreement reach between them that forces him never to tamper with the PS3, or any of Sony’s products ever again. His response was rather ironic: “I will never purchase another SONY product.”

Well according to the court order, Mr. Hotz, you’ll have no need to.
