It’s not over for Sony, then, as over 12,7000 credit cards were stolen from its Sony Online Entertainment branch as part of the massive attack PSN suffered last month. Sony Online Entertainment are behind such games as EverQuest, Free Realms and DC Universe.

Sony’s PC online Portal Station.com, home to games such as EverQuest and DC Universe Online, has gone offline.

You’re a fan and subscriber of DC Universe right? How about Free Realms? Yes. Don’t be afraid and dismayed then, with the recent PSN breach that’s left the network out of commission for over a week, because Sony Online Entertainment hasn’t been affected and so you didn’t. Also, they’ll “make good” for players of the PS3 version of the two aforementioned games.
Getting laid off is never a good feeling, but at the same time, if one takes courage, new opportunities are always on the horizon – and if the 35 people laid off from Sony Online Entertainment could see things that way, you never know what might happen.
