Sony’s PC online Portal Station.com, home to games such as EverQuest and DC Universe Online, has gone offline.
The site’s homepage reads:
“We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. We will provide an update later today (Monday).”
Whether the intrusion is related to the the PSN breach or is it a new attack is yet to be known. Sony’d announced last week that an “external intrusion” launched a malicious attack on PSN, leading the company to take the service offline.
