We still have ways to go on both fronts, mind you, but according to Treyarch’s community manager Josh Olin, the industry’s biggest problem is the “negative gamer”.

I don’t know of one gamer who’s happy with the way Activision conducts itself. Just mention the company’s name and bad memories start showing up in forums, and on websites, through comments all over gaming’s web.

It’s not something the number one publisher is proud of, and according to COO Thomas Tippl, he’d like to improve the relationship between them and the community.
