Though the U.S. leads Gamesthirst in site visits, coming in second is the U.K. Yes, we have a solid following from Great Britain, so it’s with great pleasure that we’ll be livestreaming the PlayStation 4 UK launch event right here. Get your minds ready, people, and keep something cold next to you because there’ll be a lot of quenching to do.
The event happens at Covent Garden, London, and will feature live music from Tinie Tempah, plus other gaming celebrities and the gaming public. There should also be news on more PS4 exclusives from Sony Europe studios. Be on the lookout for those.
If you’re thinking of heading down to the launch — maybe to grab a PS4, Sony will have about 400 of them on hand, selling first-come first-serve style. The company also advised attendants looking to buy their consoles at the event to start queuing from Thursday morning, and has promised to feed you food — Rebull and Pizza, I hear. What, don’t like it? You could also bring your own stuff, yeah?
So get your bodies ready, then, because it’ll be one massive event — Sony’s biggest — and maybe Europe’s biggest console launch ever.
