Weekend Quencher — It’s Getting Closer, Edition

About three more Sundays before PS4 releases in the U.S. (it comes out on November 29th in Europe), and for the remaining Weekend Quencher articles leading up to its launch, we’ll be counting down the weeks. It’s the weekend, friends, what are you guys up to?

I’ll personally be stocking up on cash in preparation for the hit my pocket will be taking on November 15th, as I won’t only be getting PS4 by itself, but with a second DualShock 4 controller, 1 year of PS Plus, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin’s Creed IV: Blag Flag.

Yes, my pocket will be on fire on November 15th. Yet it’s a fire I’m excited to ignite as the eighth generation of consoles makes its grand entrance into the living rooms of gamers the world over, and I can’t wait!

I can’t wait to experience next-gen for myself, in the comfort of my home. I can’t wait to get online with all you guys, as we beast away in some online MP action! I can’t wait to experience the higher quality visuals made possible by new hardware, and I can’t wait to touch that black box.

I feel you. Day one bundle with Killzone, 2 controllers and camera. Battlefield 4, Fifa 14, no Watchdogs and maybe AC IV.

I can’t wait to hear the system turn on and see the blue light in the middle. Hold the new controller and start…. probably playroom to show my girlfriend in an attempt to try to justify all the money i just spent :p (after she loves the console to i’ll start BF4)

Until then i’ll be roaming the streets of Los Santos…
