Games Thirst – Amazing Life
Pikmin 3 is the highest placed Wii U title of the 43 games released for the platform thus far, but still, a 74% rise in Minecraft’s retail edition denied a Wii U game the chance to reach the top of the charts for the first time. The game did perform considerably better than the GameCube’s Pikmin 2, however, which struggled into the chart at No.32 back in 2004. Nintendo also released New Super Luigi U, which entered the chart at No.13.
The Last of Us falls to No.3 after spending six weeks at the top.
Then, we have Dynasty Warriors 8 drops from No.5 to No.18, which was expected, given its audience.The Smurfs 2 recorded a 213 per cent sales increase which sees its enter the Top 40 at No.25.
