Battlestar Galactica’s writer penning new Santa Monica IP

Battlestar Galactica writer has confirmed to be working with Sony’s Santa Monica Studio on a new IP. Polygon reports that Angeli confirmed his involvement during a panel session at the show.

Angeli told the site that he has been penning work for the game over the past two and a half years, and a workforce of around 150 people from the studio is involved in its development. The writer explicitly said that his work on Battlestar helped him be the man for this job.

Then we have this strange easter egg in God of War: Ascension that further fuels the fire for the new Santa Monica IP. Battlestar helped him secure the job? “When the Earth stops”? We may have a sci-fi game from the studio after all.
