DICE has hinted that if it makes sense, they’ll implement mouse and keyboard support for Battlefield 4 PS4.
When asked by AusGamers in an interview whether Battlefield 4 on PS4 would feature mouse and keyboard support, Producer Aleksander Grøndal said it’s something they could do.
We have mouse and keyboard support for the PC obviously, but I can’t speak now specifically for next gen consoles. But if it makes sense in the Battlefield universe, for a Battlefield game, we’ll consider it.
Using mouse and keyboard is widely known to be more precise than using regular controllers, which would be a big disadvantage for gamers using their DualShock 4 controllers. So even if it’s possible, would Sony – and even DICE go that route? I’m not so sure.
