Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has finally gotten a release date. Konami announced it will be released in February 21, 2013. Presumably, that is the North American release date, and the European should be February 24. We had no information on a special edition, or pre-order incentives.
The game is being developed by Platinum Games, formerly Clover Studios, and is an overhaul of Kojima Productions’ earlier version of it, Metal Gear Solid: Rising. That was more story-heavy, and Revengeance is the opposite, as well as having changed the place in the storyline. Rising was to be between 2 and 4, while Revengeance is after 4.
