Rockstar promise to release new “multiplayer maps, modes, bursts, items, playable characters, challenges and more,” in the coming months on PSN, Xbox Live and PC.

“The story of Max Payne 3 begins in the single-player game and crosses over into the deepest multiplayer experience we’ve ever created. We intend to support the Max Payne community with new and innovative content well into the future,” Rockstar founder, Sam Houser said.

The first map pack is called Local Justice and will arrive in June featuring the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes.

Local Justice will also include two additional maps for each mode and a new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items and multiplayer challenges.

    :(
this is exactly whats wrong with DLC these days!
who said DLC has to be multiplayer only?
then developers bitch and whine when people trade their games in, yous do realise allot of people out there only play the story right?
so of course there going to trade it in if your not going to give them any more content!
sigh, i wish next gen consoles will be allot more like PC!
expansion packs and mod support, 2 of the best things to ever happen to the industry!
