Halo 4 Stays On Xbox 360

Halo 4 Stays On Xbox 360

343 Industries quickly pouring water over Xbox 720 Halo 4 rumors.

The speculation began when the game was unveiled at this year’s E3, and 343 Industries made no mention of the its engine, leading many to speculate that the new title would be part of Microsoft’s Xbox 720 unveiling.

343 Intustries’ boss Frank O’ Conner saw what was happening and quickly dashed water on the fire before it grew out of control: “Halo 4 will be on Xbox 360 and use a modified core of the Halo engine(s). Not really a singular engine since it goes through fairly radical evolutions all the time,” he posted on NeoGAF.

There you have it, then.
