Video Thirst: Sony Teasing Something Big, But What Exactly Is It?

Sony’s dropped a major teaser live-action video teasing something we have no clue as to what exactly it is. Catch it below.

The firm will reveal the secret come October 5, 2011, according to the date flashing on the screen, so we’ll have to wait until then.

It was Sony’s VP for just about everything PlayStation, Kevin Butler who tweeted the clip, saying: “Shhh…I’ve got a little something special for you. But let’s keep this between me and the 107,000 of you.”

Quench it and let’s speculate:

    i know it has something to do with R3. don’t you hear that iconic sound?

    It has something to do with all playstation games. look at the gun rack and you will see Ratchets wrench, a gun from killzone, a gun from resistance along with the sound, a orb bubble from lbp in the change holder, the ice-cream truck from twisted metal, and the mk II form metal gear as they walk in and the glowing eyes in the woods is probably resistance and the sword form FF13. The only thing i can’t seem to see something from is uncharted. IDK what it is all about.

    Do you think it’s about PS Home? With all the PlayStation characters in there? I noticed they weren’t allowed to enter the room with guns….hmm.. I don’t know.

    that gold coin in the bowl was uncharted, eyes in the forest were helghan soldiers, then you can see kratos right at the end when the two soldiers are opening the door. that sword was from Final Fantasy look liked lighting’s sword. you could also see PaRappa The Rapper on that window where that chick was sitting at

    my guess will be the release date for EU ps vita.
    everything shown there is announced for it, so……..
    they also said they would be making the EU announcement very soon.
    plus its exactly 10 days before the JP version of it opens for preorder.

    this may be a long shot but could it be cross game chat. I know they said it would not happen, but look at the vid and see how it is people from all different games in a room talking to each other. I am just speculating though.
