Gears Of War 3 Sells Over 3 Million Copies In First Week

Although we’re not shocked, it’s still news when an exclusive game manages to sell over 3 million copies in its first week on sale. Gears of War 3 has managed just that.

That’s according to VGChartz, turning the game into the biggest Xbox 360 launch this year, and falling just short of GTA IV as the sixth best 360 launch of all time.

In our video review, Matthew DeVito scored the game a 9/10 so if you haven’t purchased the third-person action title, you definitely should.
