PS3 Firmware Update Version 3.72 Now Available

by Ernice Gilbert on September 20th, 2011, under News, PS3, Sony

As promised, a new non-intrusive PS3 system update is now available.

It’s non-intrusive because it’s not mandatory, and according to Eric Lempel, vice president of Sony Network Entertainment, the “minor” update will bring “system stability during use of PS3 format software”, and “network services has been improved.”

If you’re off to work, turn that PS3 green and get it updated.

it is mandatory if you want to sign into PSN.
how ironic the day the companies CEO comments on ps3 updates being too intrusive they release another intrusive update……
