Cliffy B Mad At Eurogamer For Scoring Gears Of War 3 8/10

For any other game, 8/10 would be a wonderful score, but Epic Games’ Cliff Bleszinski, sees things differently. He’s now calling Eurogamer’s review of Gears of War 3 “hateful”, in that anyone who rates the TPS 8 is hateful towards it.

“Doing great, apart from a couple of haters,” Cliffy told VG247, while speaking to the site about review scores. When asked to elaborate on the haters in question, he pointed to Eurogamer’s 8/10 review.

“You know, I didn’t quite gather it. I don’t want to come across as defensive,” he defensively said. “How do I phrase this properly? When people rated Gear 2 higher than Gears 3, it kind of upset me because I know Gears 3 is a better game on every level.”

You know Cliffy B, Ernice Gilbert don’t quite get your attitude either. Any other game would have been cool, right? But because it’s the almighty Gears of War 3, it’s an abomination to give it anything lower than a 10?

Get off your high horse, dude, come back to reality. This is sickening.
