Modern Warfare 3 promises to once more revamp the online multiplayer scene, introducing this time around 2 new modes, and in a video interview below the break, Michael Condray, COO and co-founder of Sledgehammer Games explained the all new ‘kill Confirmed’ mode and others.
Said Condray: “We’re really trying to elevate the individual player’s experience and the team experience with new modes like Team Defend and Kill Confirmed. There is something for everyone’s game style. Kill Confirmed is something new to the game and I am finding it to be a ton of fun. How it works, is every player in the match has a dogtag, and when you die you drop it. Your team gets points by collecting these dogtags, and teams can prevent the other from getting these points by collecting your own dogtags.
So, there becomes a really great dynamic where you get a great kill, which counts, but really, collecting the dogtags and confirming the kill is as important as getting the kill itself. I really think it’s going to be a game changer in multiplayer online.”
