Rumor Water: Nintendo Struggling With Wii U Hardware Development, Considers Pushing Back Release

A very reliable source has leaked troubling Wii U info to the public, making known that Nintendo’s having development problems wit hits latest console, as the technology’s not able to deliver on some of the its core features, namely communication between the wireless controller which doubles as a tablet.

According to 01net, Wii U’s final build was “rushed out the door”, and that the chipset doesn’t have enough prowess to run the console.

The wireless tablets are at the heart of the problems, as engineers are finding it hard to make it work right, although they’re now on a third prototype, with a fourth coming this month. At the moment, developer kits need a tethering cable in order for it to work, and even then, according to the source, developers are yet plagued with constant software updates.

Lastly, although the console was scheduled for a June 2012 launch, Nintendo’s considering a push back to September of the same year.

We’ll keep you posted. Also, 01net is extremely reliable when it comes to Nintendo, basically leaking everything notable the company’s revealed lately.

as long as its next year delay it all you want!
last thing ninty can afford is a unreliable product at launch!
there already behind the competition, the system is going to be allot more expensive, and wont have many games out for it.
so they need to at least have a reliable launch and heaps of ninty exclusives to carry it to the starting line.
and i mean proper ninty exclusives, not like the 3Ds!
all the famous well known ninty franchises still have not hit it yet, a good 6 months after release!
wii u needs a mario and zelda game on launch, without it they can stick their head between their legs and kiss their a$$ bye bye!
