3D Gaming On The Go – Sony’s 3D Visor Has A Price And Release Date

No matter what you think about 3D TV’s or virtual reality headsets you have to admit that Sonys HMZ-T1 Visor is a pretty incredible piece of technology. It showed up at this years CES as a prototype but while it may look more in place in a sci-fi film it is seeing a release this year.

The headset features two 1280×720 0.7-inch OLED panels mounted in front of each eye which give the user the sense watching A 750-inch screen from 20m away. This cuppled with it’s built in 5.1 surround sound if sure to give a viewing experience like none other.

So what do you think about it? Is this the new way to watch TV, Films and of course game, or is this a stupid gimmick that will be forgotten about in a couple years?

Sony’s HMZ-T1 Visor is set to release for release in Japan on November 11th for 600,000 yen ($783 US).

Thanks tqcast.

I like the fact that they showed a bit of Halo gameplay in the Sony product.
