Santa Monica’s confirmed that there’ll indeed be a beta test for Lightbox’s upcoming title dubbed Starhawk, one it claims is the spiritual successor to Warhawk, and that’s why it’s no wonder the developer intends to give players of the latter title first dibs.
“A public beta will be part of that. Our beta plans are being worked out right now, but we will have one for sure,” said Sony Santa Monica Studios’ Senior Producer on Starhawk to the US PS Blog.
“Our hope is to take care of Warhawk players first.”
Starhawk will be released next year exclusively for PS3.
