Research firm Nielson has concluded that half of all Netflix users Stream the service through their home console of choice, but what you’ll find surprising is the order in which the consoles come in.
According to interviews the firm’s done with 12,000 Netflix users in March, 42% of users view content on their home computers, 50% through their consoles. On consoles, 25% view through Wii, 13% via PS3 and 12% on Xbox 360. Amazing.
Hulu Plus tells a different story, as 89% of users stream content to their computers, compared to just 8% for consoles.
Check out the chart below. Respondents may have chosen more than one method to reflect their overall usage.

not really surprising considering.
1 how many wiis are out there appose to ps3s and 360s.
2 chances are if you only have a wii, you dont have a bluray player so the wii is easier place to get movies.
not surprising that consoles are more used for it then PCs either.
1 theres more up to date home consoles out there then there are modern PCs.
2 most PCs are connected to monitors, not large TVs so your more likely to use your console instead of PC.
thats one thing i hate about windows 7 it wont let you store several audio devices, so im constantly having to screw around with the settings to get it working on my surround setup, then when i take it back up stairs i have to set it back up to use 2.1 instead of 5.1 optical.
pain in the ass!
All good points.
