Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer has confirmed to Gamespot in a recent interview that when the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is released, it’ll support some form of Kinect interaction.
That’s what the man told the site, adding he believes Kinect will be important to all genres.
“Core focus for us in our press briefing this year with Kinect actually came from two sides,” said Spencer.
“As a first-party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse. Even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.
The interesting thing with the amount of original content that creators came to the show with – things like what Mass Effect did, Ghost Recon – we didn’t know that was going to be on our stage when we started our E3 planning.”
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary launches on November 15th for Xbox 360.
