Nintendo: Wii U Controller Won’t Be Sold Separately

Confusion amongst gamers concerning Wii U’s revolutionary controller has reached Mount Everest, and as time passes, even more questions are raised. The latest one being will the controller be sold separately from the Wii U. Nintendo’s provided an answer to that.

“Both the controller and the console will be sold as one unit. You won’t be able to buy the controller alone,” a Nintendo representative told CVG.

The firm also said that multiplayer games for the console is being made to use one tablet controller, while other users will need to use a Wiimote. Confusing a bit, but that’s what the company said.

Not cool anymore. Basically makes it a single person machine or a glorified Wii…if involving 2 or more people.
