Battlefield 3 won’t be a multiplayer-only affair, the game’s campaign mode’s looking rather good, albeit visually. But DICE’s bona fide franchise was built for multiplayer, and come E3, we’ll get to see much more.
DICE general manager Karl Magnus Troedsson said on the game’s official blog that “co-op campaign, the introduction of Team Death Match mode and the Battlefield 3 Battlelog web destination — featuring powerful social tools, feeds and detailed player stats,” won’t be shown at E3. He gave more info on what exactly is Battlelog: “Battlelog also lets you manage your friends lists, squad up, create platoons, use voice chat and follow your friends’ progress in real-time, and more.” Sounds familiar right? Right.

And this is supposed to come out sooner than MW3 correct?
Weren’t they saying an October release?
Yes but then EA started talking all this “head-to-head” talk, so they might shoot for early November. October would be better imo.
Yeah. I think a jump on the competition would be much better.
Much better indeed. Would give people time to try out and get into their game, rather than doing tossups between MW3 and this….
what, since when does this have campaign co-op?
freaking sweet!
been begging for years for games to bring co-op back, and now uncharted 3, resistance 3, battlefield 3……. wait there all 3s!
hmmmmmmmmmmm…………
They’re trying hard to make it Epic…..as possible. I’m with them!
Co-Op Campaign??? SWEET!!! really can’t wait to see this one in action at E3.
This is shaping up to be massive! Can’t wait.
