Video Thirst: Gran Turismo 5 Paris Promo Trailer Shows Exotic Cars, Spectators, Acceleration

Gran Turismo 5. I feel like I’ve already said enough, but if you’re yet to be convinced, maybe, just maybe the Paris promo trailer for the game posted below the break will do the job.

It’s advertising at its finest.

Video Thirst: Acceleration

Start your engines everyone. Cars, fast cars, good looking cars complimented by a good looking woman with a take off flag are in here. The streets of Paris is the playground and there’s only one thing left to do:

Accelerate.

Quench it, courtesy GTPlanet.

Gran Turismo 5′s out now, and has already sold way past two million units after being on sale for less than a week. Were you amongst the throng? If not, do you self a favor and pick up the game.

Thanks, ExclusivesMostly.

im putting it on hold for a while.
really want to try and finish splatterhouse im like 10 minutes away from finishing it but i keep dying because of a glitch in the game.
last level you need to kill 2 of those giant worm things than some standard enemies, but as soon as the 2 worms die i fall through the ground.
TRON i really dont like, nothing wrong with it really but its just not fun at all, tis seriously boring!!!
i started the PoP collection last night, instantly reminded me why PoP was and still is one of my favorite series of all time!
even 7 years after release it still shows games of today how to do it!

True, the older games always do that.

shame, could of been such a great game!

I am getting frustrated will people comparing Forza 3 to GT5. I am getting sick of people talking about how FZ3 got a 92 on metacritic and GT5 got an 85. I personally feel that GT5 is a better sim racer. Also, I went back and read a lot of the forza reviews and GT5 reviews, and they complained about the same things. In fact, most of them said that GT5 looked and played better. So why did it score so low. Forza 3 gets a high score, but is pretty much forza 2 with a little polish. I put over 400 hrs into forza 2 and I put over 400 hrs into forza 3, and that is exactly what I though when I played Forza 3. I wondered why I just paid 60 dollars for a more polished version of forza 2. I am just getting frustrated with reviews of games. I am not saying that Forza does not deserve the score it got, but I believe that GT5 should have gotten better scores.

Simply put, the media has an Xbox 360 bias. It’s just simply the way it is. Game Trailers is owned by MS, so its IGN, Voodoo, GameSpy and a ton load more outlets…. They score all big Xbox games bigger than big PS3 games… But whatever, in my opinion, the media’s already tarnished as is. That’s why I don’t look at many reviews.

    Except ours here.

I can usually trust Game Informer. I do not always agree with them, but they usually do a good job. I agree with the 9 tat they gave GT5, but the people giving the game 7′s and 8′s is ridiculous. It deserves a 9 or higher.

Some sites are also just looking for attention, or didn’t take their time to really experience the game. Yet, it’s selling millions, and will continue to do just that.
