You’ll Be Able To Interrogate Enemies In Batman: Arkham City

by Ernice Gilbert on September 30th, 2010, under Hot, News, Rocksteady

Sometimes in war, it’s not wise to kill an enemy right away, too much valuable information’s at stake and if you kill, there’s no guarantee said information will be retained. So what’s a man in a dangerous place like Arkham City to do, then?

That answer’s rather easy: Interrogate. And in Batman: Arkham City, you get to do exactly that.

This according to the latest issue of the UK’s PSM3 magazine, the game’s director Sefton Hill spoke of Batman’s “Detective Mode”, a new feature designed to help him extract important information. He’ll now be able to scan a criminal database to find informants amongst the enemies, and will be able interrogate those with important knowledge like Riddler clues.

“The Riddler continues to taunt the Dark Knight with mind-bending puzzles and exploration challenges,” Hill said, “but the location of his biggest secrets are known only to him and people he’s told. Rather than unlocking their locations using maps, Batman will be able to scan a gang of thugs to find a potential informant.”

The game comes out Q3 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

    oh sweet!
thats one thing i really wanted in AA, you play as the dark night but never really feel like him because hes more a detective than a brawler.
you need more detective parts in the game, give players a scenario and make the player observe evidence to figure out what may of happened.
the parts in AA were far too simple, and shallow!
they were follow footprints, or check for a open grate simple boring stuff like that.
not really detective work fit for gothams finest!
