Video Thirst: Metal Gear Solid: Rising Gameplay Vid Released, Cutting Rampage

by Ernice Gilbert on September 16th, 2010, under Hot, Kojima Productions, Konami, Microsoft, News, Sony

Microsoft’s TGS press conference had a lot to do with cutting this year, especially in the upcoming hack-n-slash title, Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

And I mean cutting at will — what you like, Zan-Datsu if you please. Below the break’s the MGS:R trailer demonstrating exactly what took place.

Producer Shigenobu Matsuyama and director Minesh Kimura took to the stage demoing the game on an Xbox 360, saying Kojima Productions wasn’t ready to give a release date, however it was “on schedule”. Geckos were sliced and diced, melons and even bowling pins.

At Sony’s presser, we also learned that the game will be the recipient of Move and 3D support.

nothing nobody hasn’t seen already. i would rather see somethin more about the story rather than him cutting watermelon honestly

Yep, same here. I’d rather know what the story’s really about instead of loosely cutting water melons..

I know, I like the gameplay for MGS4, but the story is what kept me playing. This game looks okay, it is just another hack n slash with some new features. I will play it, but it is not high on my list.
