
While Sony and Microsoft have been locked in a war going into the holiday season, and promoting their respective motion sensing devices as the best, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) worldwide boss sees Microsoft’s Kinect media blitz not as a problem for PS Move, but rather a blessing.
He said it’s the type of free attention Move would have never received if Microsoft wasn’t pushing Kinect.

The Naughty Dogs weren’t the biggest fans of motion control gaming, but since the Wii has enjoyed so much success, they’ve changed their minds. Now, the very company which owns Naughty Dog has taken its position in the motion gaming space.

Microsoft’s TGS press conference had a lot to do with cutting this year, especially in the upcoming hack-n-slash title, Metal Gear Solid: Rising.

Sony rocked Gamescom did it not? The company brought out the big guns and went on a shooting spree. Not only did the hardware giant unveil one of its biggest franchises at the show: Resistance 3, we also saw the massive franchise, Mass Effect, make its first showing on the console.
PS3 MOVE was also on hand, and to celebrate the motion controller’s release, Sony announced a 320GB PS3 MOVE bundle for $399.99 /€347 and also a 160GB PS3 for $299.99 which will replace the current 120Gb model.
