Enslaved: Odyssey To The West comes available on October 5th in the US and on the 8th in Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360. But before you pre-order the title, (money’s tight nowadays), watch the vid past the break.
It includes 14 minutes of the game’s opening and I must say, what’s shown is rather convincing.

In the vid, you’re stuck in what looks like a mad doctor’s lab when suddenly a young lady shows up, insert some codes and sets you free. Things start blowing up and you’re finally out of the claustrophobic cage that once kept you captive.
She disappears leaving you alone to fight for your life. And you do; running, jumping, climbing – things still exploding as you make your way across. Suddenly the mysterious lady who helped you at the beginning reappears ….
It’s wild, and I’m convinced.

The game recently went gold, meaning hard copies are already in mass production phase. Only thing now, give us a demo, Ninja Theory.
