Nintendo’s New Console Will Cause Your Jaw To Drop

by Ernice Gilbert on September 7th, 2010, under Hot, News, Nintendo

Yes sir, you read that headline right, according to Metroid Creator Yoshio Sakamoto’s, the next home console from the legendary company will cause the world’s rotation to pause momentarily.

That’s what he told 3djuegos recently, it’ll “leave your mouth open,” he said.

“At Nintendo we always have the obligation to surprise users with a new game console.

We have never done what others have. We prefer to create something new that catches attention, and I think this will continue this time as well. Surely the new Nintendo machine will leave you all with your mouth open.”

And why shouldn’t they? Nintendo’s made more money this generation than beaches have sand; the giant could open its own bank if you please.

So when will this new, jaw dropping, earth stopping console hit? For one, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata gave some hints in a recent interviewing, talking up the prospect of 3D functionality as part of the next system:

“If you display a 3D image, the image quality becomes extremely bad, so we’d probably do it with the next system. We’re thinking that the timing should be once the 3D television adoption rates crosses the 30% mark. We’re looking at the adoption trends.”

But when? Yeah, we don’t have a clue. Some say next year but who knows….

We’ll keep you posted if and when news concerning this happens.

    i seriously dont think so!
ninty have always been years behind in hardware.
the gamecube was lackluster in comparison to the ps2 and xbox, the DS is lackluster compare to the PSP, the wii is lackluster compared to the 360 and ps3.
50 bucks says nintys next home console will be slightly better than the ps3, have advanced MC support and 3D of course.
but compared to the ps4 and new xbox it will again as its predecessors look outdated!
