THQ has announced Red Faction: Battlegrounds, which is a downloadable combat title for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
The game will involved four-player co-op and offer unlockable items for Red Faction: Armageddon, according to eurogamer.
There’s a heavy focus on multiplayer in the game, with players competing against one another either locally or online in a variety of game modes, including Survival, Annihilate and Flag Frenzy. You will rank up and gain rewards as you go, so there’s always incentive to perform well.

they should release a game with just the walkers in it, have it as a arcade styled ranking system the more destruction you cause the higher you score.
