Halo: Reach is set to make history on September 14th. It’ll be Bungie’s last Halo and the studio has gone to uncharted lengths. Lengths the claim will make it the most impressive Halo title ever.
Apparently, the hype is paying off because a full month before the game’s released worldwide, it’s already atop the US pre-order sales chart. Nothing short of amazing.
This is according to vgchartz.com. The site claims Halo: Reach has crossed the 1 million pre-order mark, while Black Ops has done a combined 500,000 copies.
Fallout: New Vegas is also performing exceptionally well, with the game doing a combined 300,000 copies.
Video Thirst:
Bungie has just released more multiplayer footage from Halo: Reach, and we have the full quencher for your viewing pleasure below:
The first video shows a Team Slayer match on the level Zealot, which appears to be set on a Covenant ship. It looks like a smaller map with two levels and appears to be very similar to the Halo 2 map, Midship.
The second video is also a Team Slayer match, this one is set on Pinnacle, though. It’s essentially a remake of Ascension from Halo 2.

That’s somewhat expected but impressive nonetheless.
