Games Thirst – Amazing Life
Nintendo has seen a winner in its runaway success Wii console in this, the seventh generation of the videogames industry, selling tens of millions of Wiis worldwide.
Indeed success is sweet. But it’s even sweeter when said success is achieved at home, and Nintendo has done exactly that.
Enterbrain said today that Nintendo hit the ten million unit mark in the land of the rising sun, Japan. That’s double the amount of PS3s and five times the amount of Xbox 360s sold there.
A massive advantage for Nintendo. Here’s to hoping they give the hardcore some love next time around.
