The content for Grand Theft Auto 4 has (until now) been Xbox exclusive which got on the nerves of many Playstation 3 owners but now you can all rejoice.
Episodes from Liberty City will be released for both the PC and PS3 versions of Grand Theft Auto 4 on March 30th and if purchased in the disc form, they do not require a stand-alone copy of GTA4 to function. The set will come with both ‘The Lost And Damned’ and ‘The Ballad of Gay Tony’ and will be priced at $39.99.
“It’s been a long time coming, but we are proud to finally deliver Episodes From Liberty City for the PC and PlayStation 3,” said Sam Houser. “We appreciate the patience of our PlayStation 3 and PC fans worldwide, and we look forward to putting the games in your hands this March.”
Both episodes of DLC will also be available through the Playstation Network and Games For Windows Live for $19.99 each, however, these versions of the DLC will require a copy of GTA4.
“Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City has been one of the most requested gameplay experiences by PlayStation fans, and we’re thrilled to finally bring the closing chapters of the GTA IV story from one of the biggest franchises in gaming to PS3,” said Rob Dyer, senior vice president of publisher relations, SCEA.

Cool glad all gamers of all consoles will now get a chance to play it. And who is ready to see what the next GTA has in store for us I’ve been hearing rumors about an announcement at E3 hope we see what Rockstar has cooking up for next title where do you think they’ll place the story this time?
Was about time…
I hear you Ernice I don’t know how long exactly but they have definetly been waiting a long long time for this. And it’s crazy how GTA started on PC and PS1 and now in this gen they are the last to get releases. Come on Rockstar be fair to all consoles release everything multi-platform at same time.
Yeah, that’s what was crazy…
PS2 made the game a hit and suddenly, PS3 is playing stepchild? Really?
Anyways, they promised to treat PS3 owners good this year….
Time to make up… ; )
